Co-owner Jeremy Raub led us through the small tasting room into the brewhouse where all the magic happens, guiding us through he mashtuns and fermenters, the bottle line and foudres (those giant wood casks that age sour beer).

Our featured Piece of the Pie for the month of August supports 826LA, an Echo Park-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6–18 with their creative and expository writing skills and helping teachers inspire their students to write.

With each pizza purchase we donate $4 to the nonprofit. This month’s pizza was designed by Yaret L., a student of 826LA. Yaret and her fellow students spent a morning in our kitchen with Chef Drew learning about the work he does while creating their own dream pizzas. Of the many pizzas they made, they chose Yaret’s as their favorite.
